“Crimson orchid” is an abstract artwork, a portrait of the gorgeous crimson orchid. The painting shows one large orchid, opening its magnificent flower towards the sun’s rays. Drops of fresh dew are still visible on the petals. The artist depicted a flower easily and naturally, achieved the volume and reality of the image. Shades of watercolors interact gently with each other to create marvellous blends.
The work was done in watercolor using a limited palette: crimson, pink, purple, grey, and yellow. The artwork is vibrant, rich in color and tonal range.
